What devices can I use a data plan with?

If you require data but not mobile calls, our data plans could be the perfect solution. However, it's important to ensure that you have the appropriate device at your disposal.


Devices Compatible with a Data Plan

CommsMobile's data plans do not include a device, so you will need to obtain your own compatible device, such as a tablet, phone, modem, or mobile broadband device, that can be used with a SIM card.


Supported Networks

The kind of networks you’ll have access to depends on the network bands your device supports: 


  • For 3G, it needs to support the 850 MHz band. 

  • For 4G, it needs to support the 700 and 1800 MHz bands.  

  • For 5G, it needs to support the 3.6 GHz band and be 5G compatible.
